Post: Foreign Service Officer (International Cooperation) (Grade I)

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in either Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration or Political Science. Those in possession of a Masters Degree in any of these fields and those with a working knowledge in any other United Nations languages besides English would have an added advantage.

Duties: Liasing with Ministries of Finance, Industry and Trade, Economic Planning and Development, Energy and Mining, Transport and Public Works, Tourism, Wildlife and Culture and any other relevant institutions on matters of bilateral, regional, international economic cooperation and integration; collecting or preparing reports on economic cooperation and integration or joint commissions of cooperation; analysing socio-economic and integration issues at hand and propose course of action based on evaluation; etc

Post: Protocol Officer (Grade I)

Qualififications:  “Applicants should be in possession of a bachelor’s degree  in either Social  Science{Sociology}, Political Science, International  Relations or Humanities majoring in English or any of the Languages of the United Nations,from recognized institutions”

Duties :  “Prepare credentials/letters of commissionand letters of recall of Malawi Heads ofMission abroad, process the accreditation  to Malawi f foreighn Heads  of Missions and International Organizations, coordinate visits and devise programmes within Malawi for foreign Heads of  State and Government as well as other high  ranking  officials, making appointment and other arrangements  for foreign guests and  diplomats wishing to call on Malawi government officials, attend to correspondence against diplomatic mission or their members of local people and vice versa, process  over flight and landing clearances for foreign air craft, process requests or assist official visitors of government.

Post: Assistant Protocol Officer (Grade k)

Qualifications: Applicants should be in possession of a diploma in either  Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development,Bussiness Admnistration/Management,Public Admnistration or International Relations from arecognized  insitutions

Duties: Assissting Foreign visitors and /or  Malawi dignitaries  with immigration  and customs  clearance transiting through  lounges  at air ports ,attending  site meetings for  venues  of meetings  to be held  by the head of  the VIP  lounges at airports; preparing  duty rosters for porters;etc

Note: Documentary Evidence of Major subjects specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews
