Post: Meteorologist (Grade I)
Location: Department of Meteorological
Services
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree
majoring in either physics and mathematics or mathematics and chemistry.
Duties: Providing various Meteorological
services (Aviation, agro-meteorological), hydro-meteorological, climatological,
etc); ensuring accuracy and homogeneity of meteorological data; identifying
climatic zones of Malawi; participating in national and regional meteorological
projects; undertaking meteorological research; undertaking any duties in
meteorology as assigned from time to time.
Note: Documentary Evidence of Major subjects specified in the advertisement
shall be required during interviews
